Integrated Treatment for Substance Use and Psychiatric Disorders 4th Edition
 
This is a practical manual for therapists, counselors and others who provide clinical services to clients with co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders (CODs).  This can be adapted to counseling practices in psychiatric or addiction treatment settings.  I recommend that counselors use whatever parts of this manual that they believe can improve their practice and more adequately meet the complex treatment needs of clients with CODs.  A curriculum is provided for recovery groups on topics relevant to substance use, psychiatric and co-occurring disorders.
